Featuring a 15 kg (33 lb.) drum capacity and capable of producing up to 43 kg (95 lb.) per hour, it's an excellent choice whether you're just getting your roasting business started, or you're looking to expand production. This coffee roaster comes standard with plenty of features designed to help you get set up and roasting quickly. It features an attractive matte black finish that looks great in any installation. This roaster requires a 220V electrical connection and must be hard-wired using a plug such as a NEMA L6-20P (sold separately). It also requires a 3/4" natural gas connection. This roaster comes with (2) 6" exhaust vents. Additionally, these units are manufactured and ready to order so they can ship immediately.

Perfectly Roasts Beans
It comes standard with high-efficiency infrared burners and a single-wall roasting drum that is excellent for most applications. Inside the drum, Primo's specially-designed paddles work to keep mixing consistent and ensure that your product receives the right blend of conductive and convective heat for perfectly roasted beans and rich, flavorful coffee every time. This unit includes 2 thermocouples to measure the drum air temperature and the bean temperature - this allows you to track your temperatures and create the perfect roast.
Streamlines Workflow
For the operator who wants full control over the roast process, this unit gives you the ability to manipulate as much or as little of your workflow as you like and make changes. A digital time / temperature touchscreen display makes it easy to see how the roast is progressing. This unit features pre-set, no-fuss drum speed and airflow speed settings, meaning the airflow and drum speed stay consistent throughout the roast.
Connects to Software
This unit comes standard with a USB connection port and is compatible with all standard profiling software, including popular products like Cropster, Artisan, and Roast Logger. This is especially useful for operators looking to log their data or create roast profiles. Connect a tablet or computer via USB to track your roast's turning point, first crack, and how bean temperature is progressing, allowing you to replicate successful recipes in the future and provide a consistent product to your customers time after time.
Smart Features
Additionally, this roaster lets you begin roasting a second batch without interruption while the first batch is cooling, thanks to independent drum and cool-down motors. The external cyclone features an accessible chaff bin at the bottom, making it easy to collect and dispose the husks from green coffee beans as they separate during roasting. Additionally, hinged sidewalls make cleaning easy. Other smart features include two viewing windows on the front of the roaster, which let you check on the progression of your roast visually, and a sample trier that lets you pull out a few beans for a closer look at color, smell, and other variables during the roast cycle.
