The burner can run from 8-16 hours on a 20 lb. propane tank (sold separately) that is concealed yet easily accessible behind a discreet door, or it can even be connected to a natural gas line for optimum versatility. A cover is included to shield the fire pit from inclement weather during extended periods of non-use, but if the cover is left off, the water will naturally drain from the burner bowl for added protection. Plus, this model has plenty of table space for drinks, food, and snacks around the fire!
