It can be used to replace the original one that came with your Professional Classic Series immersion circulator head (sold separately) to prevent your cooking bags from directly touching the heater and pump components. This ultimately ensures the safety of your staff when practicing sous vide cooking in your commercial kitchen.

The cage like design of this shield creates a protective barrier to reduce the risk of accidents. The perforated construction won't interfere at all with your sous vide cooking.
