The PAC SM60 side seal strapping machine is an excellent solution when you need to quickly strap packages and pallets so that they stay secure during shipping and transport! This automatic unit is a great option for high volume operations that need to process a lot of packages quickly, and with minimal operator intervention. The operator can easily band packages with a maximum size of 38 3/8" x 64". And with a tension range that can be adjusted from 1 - 70 lb. you can accommodate both delicate and durable packages. It accepts 3/8" plastic straps with an 8" x 8" core. And with an output of up to 60 straps per minute, you can quickly secure the bands on your package and set up the next one to be processed.

This unit features a simplified strapping head design and a brushless DC motor system that eliminates belts and pulleys, and uses 30% fewer parts than comparable competitor strappers. This drastically reduces repair bills and maintenance costs compared to machines with more traditional systems. This is a side-sealing unit, which is ideal for applications where moisture and loose debris are a concern since the side mounted design protects the strapping head better than a bottom-sealing unit. Additionally, it comes with an intuitive auto-feeding feature that allows the operator to feed the strap automatically from the coil, and ejects missed straps to prevent jamming. When you need to change a coil out, the strap change location is located at waist-height to make the process quick and easy. The sensor-controlled heat seal system guarantees consistent and highly reliable strap welds.

Additional features like tool-free access to the strap channel and automatic end of coil detection and ejection make this unit easy for both new and seasoned employees to learn. And with multiple strap patterns to choose from and a built-in interlock plug that can facilitate communication with upstream and downstream conveying systems, it's easy to install this unit in your packaging workflow, too. Core functions are housed in a convenient LCD control panel. Finally, the table is engineered to adjust between 17 1/2" and 25 3/8" high, letting you tailor it to a working height that best fits the packages you'll be working on. A built-in conveyor top makes it easy to integrate into existing packaging lines. It requires a 110V electrical connection.
