Scratch and Dent Merrychef eikon e5-1530 High-Speed Accelerated Cooking Countertop Oven

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. We purchased this product in June 2023 for our coffee shop. At only 8 months old it will not run a cook cycle. Merrychef has sent out 6 different technicians from 4 different companies to find/fix the issue and not a single company is able to figure it out. Every tech has told merry chef that it is defective, and instead of replacing the product they wish to continue to send out more people/different companies to try and fix it. It has now been 8 weeks since this oven has worked properly, and it has caused my coffee shop to suffer immensely. Merrychef customer service would rather laugh at the situation and the fact that it is costing our company tons of sales instead of standing behind their "quality" word. We are currently still waiting on another part. It has been over a week and Merrychef hasn't even shipped it....I advise to go with any other manufacturer if your looking for this type of product.

Such an easy to use oven with a multitude of settings and temperature options! It is also super easy to clean and the machine provides a step by step break down of the cleaning process.

We have had this Merrychef for almost 2 years now and we are pleased with it. We had a used turbochef before this that gave us alot of issues. It was a used product which does not justly represent the turbochef. We believe the turbochef would have been a very reliable product if it was new. In fact, we were hesitant to switch to a new brand since our turbochef was so fast and powerful when it was working. This merrychef, however, does essentially the same thing with just a little slower cook time - actually just 5 seconds slower. It does what it should and is reliable.

I had never heard of a combination convection and microwave oven but it is just brilliant! This thing works like a charm everytime. I love it.

Decent oven. No Fan speed controls for this model, sorry. We don't like that feature but you do have programmable menus you can download online and put on a jump drive. It allows you to create custom recipes. I would think that the company would provide a menu to help you properly cook/create a new recipe to cook commonly used frozen foods. You're on your own to try and adjust the microwave power level and cook time per recipe formula. Then you upload it to the oven and it requires you to upload the menu to a jumpdrive, then program on a computer, save to jump drive, reinsert jump drive and then download menu, 2 minutes and you are ready to cook. PS, you can't access the menu without the oven heating up to the set temperature? whats that about? Beats the $ Turbochef, but lacks the nuance and ease of use on comparison. Overall a good value for the money.
