This Curtron E-IBD-42-1 Flying Insect Control back door 42" wide air curtain is designed to throw a higher velocity barrier of forced air than front door models, preventing flying insects, dust, dirt, and pollutants from entering your facility.
Due to this increased air flow, the Flying Insect Control air curtain is better suited for rear employee entrances of larger facilities like supermarkets, distribution centers, warehouses, and processing plants, as opposed to customer entryways.
Its housing, grill, and air nozzle are made of aluminum and the motor is totally enclosed, making the Flying Insect Control air curtain long-lasting. The air curtain can also help to circulate air inside your establishment, keeping the flow of hot and cold air steady, which lowers your overall energy consumption and reduces utility bills.
If used with its included door plunger switch, the Curtron E-IBD-42-1 Flying Insect Control back door air curtain only triggers when the door is opened and shuts off when the door closes, which helps to conserve energy.

This machine single handily reduced the fly population by more than half. The motors are strong and effective. The only issue is one of the two came with a relay that started making a loud noise, and the other didn't have this relay. The only with out the relay starts much quieter. However, the relay was easily repaired if your handy at repairs. Besides the relay issue, this machine was worth every penny and more.

I would highly recommend this air curtain. We installed it at our back door receiving area a few years ago and haven't had a problem since.
