Space-efficiency is often required in a commercial kitchen, and this Beverage-Air WTF24AHC-FIP 24" worktop freezer with 4" foamed-in-place backsplash delivers just that. Not only does it provide a spacious work top area for food prep or plating, it also includes 5.16 cu. ft. of frozen storage. The door to the refrigerated cabinet is made of stainless steel with sturdy, cartridge-style hinges and is self-closing with a 120 degree stay-open feature for easy loading. When closed, the door seals shut with a magnetic gasket. Plus, its opening features anti-condensate heaters to maintain a dry, foodsafe interior. At the end of the day the door is easy to remove prior to cleaning. It's also field reversible, allowing you to change the hinge side to best suit your space.
Inside the cabinet, a corrosion-resistant aluminum liner protects against the inevitable spill or leak. A set of two epoxy-coated shelves also provide great organization for storing everything from bags of fries to pounds of meat.
The exterior of the freezer, which includes a stainless steel front, top, and sides, is outfitted with a 4" backsplash. This backsplash helps prevent ingredients and supplies from falling behind the unit during use, and it's even foamed-in-place for added reliability.
Powered by a 1/4 hp compressor, the freezer's refrigeration system circulates R290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant boasts an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it a smart, environmentally-friendly investment. Temperatures are maintained at or below 0 degrees Fahrenheit and can be viewed on the interior thermometer.
A full electronic control and automatic defrost simplify operation and maintenance, as does the unit's set of 6" casters. Because it's mobile, the freezer easily rolls aside for service or cleaning. Plus, 2 of the casters include brakes, which secure the unit in place for stationary use. A 115V electric connection is required for operation, and an 8' long cord and plug set is included.

We bought this freezer to replace a house hold type freezer we had at the restaurant. We needed a thin freezer as space is a major issue in our kitchen. This freezer works great and the work top is an added bonus. There is plenty of space inside. We store french fries and onion rings in this freezer to use on the line for service.
