With a powerful 1/2 hp compressor and a -5 to 2 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range, this glass froster is the perfect way to cool your salad plates before service or put a delicate layer of frost on your craft beer glasses. While this unit is not for storing food or beverages, it is great for preparing the dishes or glasses you will use to serve guests. Also, it does not need to be running continuously so your staff can turn it off after hours to save electricity!
The 12.2 cu. ft. of interior space can hold plenty of salad plates or beer mugs. The Avantco GF50-HC glass froster's compressor uses R290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. To simplify maintenance, this unit is equipped with an automatic defrost system.
The interior of this unit is made of white painted aluminum while the exterior is made of durable black coated steel. It comes with 8 epoxy-coated steel shelves inside to make it easy to keep your plates or glasses organized. Polyurethane insulation helps to maintain the interior temperatures by minimizing temperature transfer while the sliding stainless steel doors allow easy access when it's time to plate up your food or draw another glass of beer. A 115V electrical connection is required for operation.
