Equivalent to a 75 watt incandescent bulb, this component produces 1,350 lumens at a 120 degree beam angle to provide excellent light coverage. For safe use above cooking equipment, the bulb features an unbreakable polycarbonate enclosure and a safety shut off that turns the light off at 275 degrees Fahrenheit and turns it back on when the temperature reaches 189 degrees Fahrenheit. This highly efficient bulb is rated for 30,000 hours, approximately 30x longer than a standard incandescent bulb. Plus, unlike comparable models that include a ballast which needs to warm up before operation, this bulb does not have a ballast so that it can turn on instantly.
