We mixed in cinnamon & sugar, then froze in a thin, even layer & cut into bars for teething babies. Great to eat plain or as a replacement for some of the oil (a 50-50 split is best- it’s very noticeable if you use 100% applesauce) in cake & brownies.

We bake a lot of dog treats and this is the only apple puree we use. We love it because it has simple ingredients that are all natural. And, it's unsweetened so it's perfect for baking with. Not too sweet, just perfect.

We love applesauce and while this would work great in recipes and cooking, we love it RIGHT out of the can. Crazy enough it doesn't taste canned! It is fresh and has a good texture it still has the fiber of the apples and all natural sweetness so that you don't have the yuck of added corn syrup or sugar. Great right out of the can with cinnamon and spices!

They warehouse team did a great job of packing this product. It was plastic wrapped with a lot of bubble wrap around the edges. Most of the cans were dented during shipment, but they were not punctured so it didn't affect the product. And, webstaurant store can't do anything about the product being dinged up during shipping, so 5 stars for the warehouse team.

Musselman's is a good apple brand. This is no exception. The unsweetened is good. Apples are naturally sweet. One though could add sweetener if desired. Adding your own means it is to your taste. This is good as is but also for baking. It works as oil, a leavener, and more.

This apple sauce tastes great. I love that I have the option of buying this unsweetened in its natural state. I do a semi-homedade apple sauce with where I add my own spices and sweeteners, and I love that I can control what goes into my food this way.
