I brine my own homemade pickles, ferment saurkraut, jars of pickled banana peppers, tomatillo salsa, Giardiniera mix, the list is endless. The fine consistency of the canning and pickling salt dissolves quickling in my homemade brine for all of my canning and jarring. Great value highly recommend.

This salt is a great addition to my spice cabinet and does not over power or change the flavor of the different canned items I have stored.
So you use this salt for canning and pickling? Big Whoopee! I use it for every day cooking and in my table salt shakers too because it's more consistent than most table salts WITHOUT all those other chemicals, agents and impurities! Tastes great, and so much cheaper than sea salt (ya know, ALL salt is really sea salt... check it out online!)!
This is the best canning and pickling salt I have used. It dissolves nicely and lasts a long time. I've tried other brands, but Morton is the best.
Great price for pure salt and nothing added. The fine grain of this salt makes it dissolve quickly. It does tend to clump since there is no additive to prevent clumping. I use about 75 pounds of this salt every pickling season on my farm.
