Thank you for the review Jane. We’re sorry this product has not worked well for you. For an alternative that might better meet your needs, try this Ghirardelli Stanford Milk Chocolate Wafers 35 lb. instead!
I received 2 50 lb boxes. Both do not melt well & all of the waferes REQUIRED to have a liquid oil which won't set solid again. Adding a large amount of paramount crystals is needed to melt smooth enought to a set in a mold & it is too too much. I don't have th boxes to check the date, but after using every method available to melt the wafers....they just won't melt easily or smoothly without an additive. I am very disapoointed as I cannot use it for a firm dipping or mold in lolly pops, etc. I am not sure to contact for a refund & may need to change brands. HOWEVER.....I was able to add oil & cocoa powder to make a fluid version in a fountain dispenser......altho it was still more oil than anticipated. :( fyi: The entire contents of both boxes has alot of gray bloom. I don't recommend.

I got this order it had 1 strip of tape on the box. And it was heavy 50 pound box. And dirty from being on the floor of the truck. The part i was up set with they never tied the bag it was wide open. I called complained about that. Also after the call we melted 2 cups of wafers they suck. so calling back today to have a chat. Not happy with the wafers or the person that packed them.
