This Metro 12" x 36" Erecta chrome wire shelf features an open wire construction that minimizes dust accumulation and allows free air circulation. No special tools are required to build a shelving unit or wall-mounted shelf with Metro's Erecta system. Grooves on the shelf allow you to position it and lock it into the upright or a wall mounting bracket. It can hold up to 800 lb. of evenly distributed weight.
Metro Erecta chrome wire shelving can be used in one of two ways:
1. Mount on a wall using the Metro 12WB1C or 12WB3C Erecta Shelf Wall Mounting Bracket (sold separately).
2. Create a free-standing shelving unit by purchasing several Erecta shelves and two Erecta Uprights (sold separately). This item is designed for use in dry storage environments.

Every food service facility needs shelving. This metro shelving is tried and true and at a phenomenal price you can not beat it any where.
These are very nice shelves. They are very sturdy and are nicely plated in a way that holds up. Good wire spacing so nothing falls through.
Metro shelving is super! I use one of these at home as an equipment rack. It has, conservatively, at least 300 pounds of equipment on it - and the uprights are farther apart as the unit I'm using is 18x60. Use the real Metro uprights and plastic links - I tried cheaping out with some phony uprights and one of the links slipped. But otherwise... Works great and wears great too!
