This Main Street Equipment 82916442 defrost heater fuse is a direct replacement for the one that came standard on BMR-23-F and BMR-49-F reach-in freezers. It melts accumulated frost off of your unit's evaporator coil and warms the drain pan to allow condensation to drain without refreezing. A broken fuse should be replaced promptly to continue proper operation of your unit.
