They boast an impressive range of up to 24 miles and they have 22 pre-programmed FRS channels for communication. Plus, they are water-resistant for long-lasting durability.

These radios have a scan function to quickly scan all channels for incoming transmissions, while the call alert easily notifies you of incoming calls. They also have an auto squelch mode to remove background noise and a silent operation mode to operate without any beeps and tones. A roger beep tone can be activated to emit a beep when your transmission has finished. To maintain the desired settings, the keypad lock will prevent any buttons from accidentally being pressed.

These radios come equipped with a microphone and headphone jack. They each operate using a rechargeable NiMH battery pack. The high / low power settings help extend battery life, while the low battery indicator clearly indicates when they need to be charged. These radios come with a dual desktop charger and an AC wall adapter to keep them ready for operation. They each come complete with a belt clip for easy transport.
