Unlike dual-band routers though, the EA8300 uses tri-band technology to double its performance. This technology and a quad-core processor make for ultra-fast Internet speeds up to 2.2 Gbps (400 Mbps at 2.4 Ghz and 867 Mbps at 5 Ghz).

Beamforming technology helps the router track devices and optimize their speed and range based on the resources they require. This means that the WiFi speeds won't slow down when more devices are connected. This powerful router creates a 260 ft. wireless range. Additionally, the device prioritization feature is great for businesses as it allows you to select the devices that require the most speed.

This router features 1 USB 3.0 port to connect printers and other external devices to the network, in addition to 5 individual Gigabit ethernet ports (1 WAN, 4 LAN). The 4 powerful adjustable antennas and 6 high-power amplifiers allow the router optimize transmission rates to allow multiple devices in a medium-sized space to utilize the same fast internet speeds simultaneously. For easy initial installation, the router includes browser-based set-up. A Linksys app is also available for support, and the firmware updates automatically to maintain network security. This router is for use on 802.11ac WiFi networks.
