Although this shot glass serves 2 oz, we use them for our 1.5 oz shots. It fills to about three quarters and gives an excellent presentation. I think a really full glass can look sloppy and spill quite easily. Highly suggest for your 1.5oz shots.

These shot glasses are surprisingly heavy duty. In the picture you can see the open space where the liquid would go in and below that is not hollow but full glass. They are surprisingly heavy shot glasses. Different, but in a good way.
