The best base for a variety of soups. We primarily use it for New England Clam Chowder, but it is also wonderful in pureed vegetable soups like asparagus our spinach. It is so much easier than starting with flour and making a roux. It also provides a good flavor that is easy to build upon. It has a nice consistency and doesn't leave chunks. I highly recommend this!
This is the best base for cream soups. We used the same brand when we had a small restaurant and so happy to find it to use for our soups we make at home. Delicious!
