Take the prep work out of serving traditional Japanese sauces with this delicious, ready-to-use Lee Kum Kee sushi unagi sauce. Also known as unagi no tare or eel sauce, this classic condiment is made with soy sauce, sugar, and salted sake rice wine to create a salty sauce with sweet caramelization and a beautiful golden-brown color that's versatile in application. Packaged in a bulk 5.3 lb. jar with a convenient handle, this unagi sauce is a perfect way to ensure that you keep your Asian restaurant well-stocked with the essentials. Plus, it's made without artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives, making this sauce a natural choice for your establishment.
Unagi sauce is a traditional accompaniment to Japanese grilled unagi (eel) or unagi sushi. It also makes a delicious dip for many varieties of sushi, including nigiri, shrimp tempura, or temaki. It also makes a great topping for Hawaiian poke bowls. However, unagi sauce isn't limited to sushi! This caramelized condiment can be used as a delicious barbecue sauce that's perfect for practically any grilled entree, such as meat, fish, tofu, mushrooms, or any vegetable. Just a light coating of this sauce is all you need to add complex umami flavor to a whole host of dishes! Try creating a satisfying fusion entree by marinating a flank steak in unagi sauce with ginger, garlic, chili peppers, and scallions, then grilling to medium rare. No matter how you choose to use it, this delicious and versatile sushi unagi sauce will add delicious Japanese flavor to your menu.
While running a humble tea and oyster soup shop in Guangdong, China, Lee Kum Sheung had a happy accident; one day in 1888, he simmered his oysters for too long. His normally clear oyster soup had turned into a thick brown sauce with a rich aroma and an astonishingly complex flavor. Lee knew he had accidentally made something wonderful! He created the Lee Kum Kee brand to promote his newly-invented oyster sauce, and as the sauce's popularity began to grow, so did his company. Though today, Lee Kum Kee is an international brand that is well-known throughout China and around the world, this family-owned business has remained rooted in its beginnings as a simple company founded on delicious flavor. Lee Kum Kee offers a wide variety of traditional Chinese sauces and condiments and is constantly creating innovative new flavors that set the standard for great taste. Whether you're looking for authentic Chinese flavor or delicious condiments to help you keep up with industry trends, Lee Kum Kee offers something for every establishment.

i found this sauce/ingredient was a disappointment....to me it was almost pure fructose corn sweetener with an overlay of cooked garlic sort of flavor and red coloring....it didn't add anything to my dishes except sugar which i could get elsewhere from the sugar bowl....not reccommended

This chili sauce tastes exactly the same as the most popular Sriracha brand, but it is a better price. We use it to make spicy mayonnaise, and it tastes great.

Lee Kum Kee’s 4.87 lb. Thai Sweet Chili Sauce is a versatile, restaurant-quality condiment that delivers a balanced sweet-spicy flavor. Its vibrant, mildly spicy taste with a tangy kick makes it an excellent dip for spring rolls, fried chicken, or fish cakes, and a great glaze or marinade for stir-fries, BBQ meats, or roasted vegetables.
Not the best tasting soy sauce. Price is right.
Best for pho

Super great gluten free soy sauce option. No as salty as the san-J or kikkoman tamaris. We use this for all of our sauce making at our new american chinese restaurant. A little pricier than others, but it's been consistently in stock.
The best sweet chili for my Crab Rangoon recipe. I've tried others, I carry others for other items. But this is the ONLY sweet chili for my crab Rangoon pizza. I use it in the mix as well as a topping. My customers rave about this pizza. It's all in the sauce. I have gone to great lengths to find this sauce when others stop selling it. I've gone without my Crab Rangoon pizza because I didn't have this sauce. It's that good.
Good option for a tamari. The only thing is the brand Lee Kim Kee has a low sodium soy sauce that is also in green packaging and it might be a bit hard pick the right one whenever packaging orders, so I would recommend putting them apart.
Lee Kum Kee premium soy sauce is very good in flavor. It is 8ml packet, which is bigger than other brand. Other brands normally only 6ml.
