Be prepared with this Lavex Industrial dual head New York City approved heavy-duty emergency light with a battery backup. With this heavy-duty emergency light, you can rest assured that your business is prepared. This specialized emergency light is approved by the City of New York, plus it comes with a battery backup so that even if the power goes out your hallways and emergency exits will still be well lit.

This unit features two 6V, 9W adjustable PAR36 type emergency lamps to direct light where you need it and a heavy-duty, 20 gauge steel housing with a white powder coat finish that stands up to challenging environmental conditions. The universal mounting and hinged front access panel allow for easy installation, and stamped conduit knockouts come standard, too. These conduits, as well as the universal mounting pattern, allows for front, top, or side mounting.

To make sure that the light keeps working even when the power is out, this unit comes with a 6V maintenance-free sealed lead acid battery. There is an internal switch that automatically connects the internal battery to the lights for emergency illumination during a power outage. A line-latch prevents the battery from discharging unnecessarily, and once the battery is discharged the fully-automatic charger initiates charging. The battery is protected against brown outs and short circuits and even has temperature compensated circuitry. Plus, the dual diagnostic LED display indicates AC/ON and high charge, while the push to test switch ensures that this emergency light meets mandatory code compliance testing requirements.

This unit requires a 120V or 277V electrical connection for operation. The overall input wattage for this unit is 7.1W for a 120V connection or 8W for a 277V connection.
