Ensure safety in your establishment with this Kidde hardwired interconnectable smoke alarm 21027537. This smoke alarm uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke and fire. It has a loud piezoelectric horn that emits 85 decibels at 10' away to audibly alert patrons. This is paired with a voice warning system that says "fire!" after every 3 beeps. It is easy to mount onto a wall or ceiling thanks to the mounting bracket.

This alarm features a test / hush button to ensure the electronic circuitry, horn, and battery are functioning properly. The smart hush control allows you to silence your unit when it is triggered by non-hazardous sources. It will announce "hush mode activated" during these occasions. For your convenience, this alarm is interconnectable with up to 24 Kidde devices such as smoke, carbon monoxide, and heat alarms (sold separately).

This unit can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It includes a red LED light that indicates alarm condition, a green LED light to indicate that AC power is present, and an amber light to indicate low battery, end of life, or errors. It chirps every 60 seconds, with a "replace alarm" voice every 30 seconds, when it is nearing the end of its life to alert that the unit must be replaced. To prevent low battery chirps at night, it has an ambient light sensing feature that prevents the alarm from chirping in dark conditions.

This unit uses a hardwired 120V AC connection for operation, and it comes with a sealed lithium-ion backup battery. This battery ensures that the smoke alarm will still work during power outages, and it lasts for up to 10 years. This alarm is tamper-resistant to prevent unauthorized removal.
