Use this Justrite 83mm open top carboy cap with adapter, two 1/2" molded-in hose barbs, and 27" tubing 12888 as a replacement or additional cap for your carboy! It has an open top design and a leakproof, polypropylene construction. This cap includes an interchangeable adapter with two 1/2" molded-in hose barbs and 27" tubing to provide users with a variety of top connection configurations.

Thanks to the adapter and 27" tubing, this cap is great for aseptic fluid handling. It helps to eliminate open-air pouring of high-purity fluids and sensitive biologicals. The 27" tubing is made of platinum-cured silicone, making it perfect for use in laboratory, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology applications.

The cap is designed to be stackable and features large grips to allow for easy tightening. Both the cap and adapter are autoclavable with a recommended autoclave cycle of 15 PSI and 250 degrees Fahrenheit (121 degrees Celsius) for 20 minutes. This model is compatible with Justrite carboys with 83mm openings (sold separately).
