I've bought about 4 of these 60lb buckets (orange blossom) for home-brewing over the past 3 years. A few notes on this honey: The mead you can make with this isn't at all bad and is totally drinkable, but wont knock your socks off. As a primary sugar source for brewing it is adequate. As a secondary sugar source, such as for cysers, braggots, and pyments, or to augment higher-quality honeys, it is extremely hard to beat for flavour and price. I would strongly recommend this to those wanting to get into mead, as it's a VERY economical source of honey to use as you dial in your technique and learn the craft. I would also recommend this to established home-brewers, again as an economical option for experiments or to just have around. FYI this stuff make a dang good hydromel - shoot for 6% abv, back-sweeten, and balance the acidity with lime juice.

So delicious and such a great deal at this price. I like to add this and orange blossom water to make a fragrant and sweet fruit salad. Yum! It's also delicious on just bread with butter.

This product was purchased for the fermentation of some amazing mead and it did not disappoint. It is now part of the most commonly used home fermentation recipe out there. Joe's ancient mead. It's flavor going in was amazing deep rich orange that is well beyond a hint.

Purchased 60lbs/5 gals. of Orange Blossom Honey and received it August 21, 2020. It does not taste, look, or smell like orange blossom honey and has a very bad after taste. Having lived in FL most of my life - I have eaten orange blossom honey most every day - so I have a lot of personal experience in various FL orange blossom honeys and their range of tastes. Whatever kind of honey put in the bucket they labeled as "Orange Blossom Honey" and shipped us - its does not taste like any orange blossom I have ever had. Zero orange blossom taste or smell. We use orange blossom honey a lot in our bakery for our pastries and for our baklava. I have no complaints with this brand. Very sweet and very floral tasting. I love it. Definitely worth the price.

This is a light and sweet honey but with a hint of citrus. It is good on baked items, especially breads and more so breakfast items.
