Very reliable. The orders are shipped promptly and arrive within couple of days undamaged. I wish they had a storage place in the south USA. The shipping cost is prohibitive for small orders.

DO NOT BUY this special honey!!! Upon reading the reviews on Baker's Special Honey I went ahead and ordered it. As soon as I opened the bucket it smelled like molasses,, not even a hint of honey at all. It has a very strong flavor and smell of molasses. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it on a few of my recipes, It definitely change the flavor, consistency and of course the color of my recipes. I DO NOT recommend this as honey but rather as a molasses.

This honey has been overheated and has a burnt flavor to it. I prefer dark flavorful honey, but this is flat and tastes more like molasses than honey. I'm not even sure it is worth it to try and make mead with it. I should have known the price was too good to be true. Spend the extra honey and get better quality honey.

This product is very inconsistent and is not good for baking, although it did work for a couple of weeks when we ordered again and tried to use it basically flatened out every recipe we have for bread and rolls. Webstaurant we awesome in refunding for product and we have since moved on to another bulk honey they offer and have had no problems at all.

WARNING! DO NOT BUY FOR BAKING! We tried this honey on several of our baked good recipes that we have been making for over 35 years, and every single dough that this honey touched it RUINED. We’re not just talking slightly less rise, it literally makes dough look likes it melting. Not sure what’s in the “formulation” of Baker’s Special Honey, but I would not recommend using it for anything baked. We bought 6 buckets of this and ended up wasting hundreds of dollars in dough and labor just giving it a shot. See photos for evidence of what this honey does to dough.

I bought this honey to use in baked goods, I tried it in my tea one day and it had a funky flavor, but it has been fine in baked goods.

We have been ordering buckets of honey from WebstaurantStore for a couple of years now. We order a bucket last week that was stolen during the shipping. WebstaurantStore got me a new bucket sent out ASAP. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs bulk food goods. I would love to see them switch carriers.

We have used this honey in BAKING and SAUCES and it has been wonderful! No issues with our baking or needed alterations in recipes. The price beats costco!

Love having the honey, in a large container, this makes it easy when I need it. It’s a little hard to pour it. It’s very heavy. I still like it better than the smaller containers.

Our customers are always asking what kind of honey I use cause they love it. They have it on biscuits and with tea. I also use it to make honey butter.

Odd smelling, not a good honey smell or flavor. It may be okay as a sugar substitute but other than that, not impressed. I will give it a try in a small batch of mead.

This was purchased for my partners baking needs. When I had let them complete most of the container undecided to experiment. I converted the food grade container with a new lid into a fermenter and used what honey was left to make Mead. It will ferment and produces a dark rich complex mead.

Bakers honey has a darker color and slightly sweeter taste when compared to wildflower honey.. will be using for meads and perhaps making ginger candies..

Great honey. I prefer this to standard floral varietals. It has a richer flavor and darker color than traditional. Having it be slightly cheaper than the rest. Wow.

We make a lot of granola at the International ALERT Academy where I work, and that means a lot of honey! I appreciated finding this honey at such a good price. It's not ideal for serving by itself, as in with biscuits or such, although it works ok. But for baking it's great, thus the name.:)
