Great for any business or professional office, this cabinet is built to optimize your storage space, helping you keep legal-size, letter, or A4-size patient, client, or project files organized without cluttering up desk space. Featuring convenient full-width drawer pulls, each drawer is easy to open and close. Plus, the durable, fully assembled steel construction with a powder-coat finish and non-porous surface and double-wall reinforced base ensures that this filing cabinet will withstand everyday use. It also makes this item easy to clean. Since this model is a tall, 5-drawer unit, it comes equipped with one binder storage drawer at the top of the cabinet.
For smooth operation and easy access to the files you need, each drawer features full-width J-pull handles and a commercial grade precision ball bearing suspension and follower blocks. Each drawer also comes fully equipped with hang rails to accommodate hanging files and can fit files that are letter, legal, or A4 size (sold separately). All Hirsh Industries lateral file cabinets also include an interlock system that allows only one drawer to be opened at a time. This cabinet also utilizes the weight of a brick concealed beneath the bottom to keep it upright without being anchored to a wall. This prevents tipping to reduce the chance of employee injuries.
An integrated lock allows you to keep your files protected from unauthorized personnel. The lock is core removable in case you ever need to re-key the filing cabinet. As a lateral filing cabinet, this unit is equipped with dual lock bars for greater security. This filing cabinet is made from up to 30 percent recycled material to help you maintain a green business model.
