I purchased this blender pitcher because it claimed to be a "bar" blender pitcher. It went with the Hamilton Beach base which I already have in my drive thru coffee business. While it blends just fine, the lid pops on and off during the blending of smoothies or any frappe type drink. This is supposed to be a pitcher for the exact type of things we are using it for and it makes a huge mess inside the plastic cover that goes over the outside. We are constantly having to clean up the mess. The other issue with it, as was also an issue with previous Hamilton Beach blending pitchers, is the numbers begin to wash off approximately a month after buying it. Seeing the measurement to makes drinks is essential. I would not purchase this pitcher again and wouldn't buy another Hamilton Beach because all of their pitchers fail in this department. Our Vitamix has none of these issues. I do not recommend this pitcher!
