When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment GFR3510 heated safety station with eyewash, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. Complete with both eyewash valves and a shower head, this safety station can handle full body rinses as well as eye flushes. It also is rated for use in a class 1, division 2 environment.

This safety station is designed to hold up to extreme cold conditions without freezing. With heat-tracing cable wrapped around the water pipe, this station can withstand weather down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. The heated cable is activated by a thermostat that reads the internal temperature of the piping and turns on when the temperature drops below 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Polyethylene insulation also protects the pipes from the outside elements and keeps warm water and pipes from losing their heat. An ANSI-compliant identification sign mounts directly to the upright of the station for clear direction on operation.

This unit is encased in a bright orange UV-resistant ABS plastic jacket that is durable and also easy to identify in an emergency. Type 304 stainless steel schedule 40 pipes and fittings offer long lasting service life. The stainless steel shower head is 10" in diameter and has a 20 GPM flow control. The shower is activated with a pull down rod that controls a stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. A paddle right next to the eyewash valve turns on the eye flush for as long as it is pressed. Each freeze-resistant spray head has a float-off dust cover and an internal flow control. This unit has a bottom mounted 1 1/4" NPT female supply inlet and requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
