Guardian Equipment GFR1205 Details
When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment GFR1205 freeze-resistant emergency shower, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. If exposure occurs, just simply press the clearly marked hand paddle and the shower will begin pouring water until it is released.
To prevent freezing, the valve and supply line are located behind the wall in an area that is heated. The plastic shower head has a 20 GPM flow control and is bright orange for quick identification in an emergency situation. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included for clear direction on operation. The hand paddle is connected to a chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. This unit has a 1" NPT female supply inlet.
