When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment GBF2160 recess mounted safety station with drain pan and recess mounted shower head, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. Complete with both eyewash valves and a shower head, this safety station can handle full body rinses as well as eye flushes.

The recess mounted design is a great way to offer barrier-free access to the station, while also keeping it tucked away for a more professional appearance. The pull-down style eye/face wash not only looks nicer than a fully exposed assembly, it also remains better protected from incidental damage. To activate the eye/face wash just simply pull down the "panic bar" and the flow of water will automatically switch on until the assembly is returned back to the vertical position. All waste water is collected in a drain pan and returned to the cabinet for drainage.

An ANSI-compliant identification sign mounts directly to the upright of the station for clear direction on operation. Brushed stainless steel pipes and fittings offer long lasting service life. The stainless steel shower head is 10" in diameter and has a 20 GPM flow control. It includes a flange for recess mounting into a finished ceiling. The shower is activated with a pull down rod that controls a stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. This unit has a 1" NPT female supply inlet.
