When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment GBF1671 recessed emergency shower with recess mounted shower head, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. If exposure occurs, just simply pull on the "panic bar" located in a recess mounted cabinet and the shower will begin pouring water until it is returned back to closed position.

The recessed design keeps the plumbing hidden for a more professional appearance. This unit comes with a ceiling flange for recess mounting in a finished ceiling. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included for clear direction on operation. The stainless steel shower head is 11 3/4" in diameter and has a 20 GPM flow control. The panic bar is connected to a brass stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. This unit has a 1" NPT female supply inlet.
