When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment G1641 horizontally mounted emergency shower with drench hose, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. If exposure occurs, just simply pull on the rigid pull rod and the shower will begin pouring water until it is released.

The drench hose is ideal for rinsing eyes, face, or body, and is activated with an easy-to-use squeeze handle. It mounts to a wall hook and has 8' of PVC hose for ample reach. This unit comes with a wall flange for horizontally mounting in a finished wall. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included for clear direction on operation. Galvanized steel schedule 40 pipes and fittings offer long lasting service life. The shower head is bright orange ABS plastic for easy identification in an emergency and has a 20 GPM flow control. The pull rod is connected to a chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. This unit has a 1" NPT female supply inlet.
