The cleaning solution's easy application helps ensure effective cleaning by even the most inexperienced workers. For the best results, pre-heat the griddle to 300-350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, simply pour Griddle Kleen over your grill plate, immediately spreading and scrubbing the liquid across the griddle's top. Scrape any remnants into the unit's grease trap, turn off the griddle, rinse or wipe the surface with a damp cloth, and you're ready to cook! It is also recommended that you apply a thin coating of liquid shortening after cleaning to help prevent rust.

To help you spread the cleaning solution and remove grime from your griddle plate, use the included grill polish pad. Featuring hard-working abrasives, this pad has the power to remove burnt-on food and grease. It also adds a final polish to your grill surface, making future cleanings easier. Made of strong nylon, this pad will allow you to remove left-over food particles and restore your grill's original shine. The pad can be used alone or with the included holder for extra leverage.

It's important to apply even pressure for a thorough clean, while also protecting your hands from grease build-up and heat. The 16" multi-purpose pad holder does just that, while also improving leverage for an overall more effective cleaning. Gripping fingers on the holder keep the pads more firmly attached to the holder, while the holder's ergonomic design gives you the scouring power you need to keep your grills and griddles looking clean!
