These plates are high quality, easy to maintain, and fit my needs. As an individual I am using these as a training aid for myself to get used to making more complete meals, adequate portioning, and dividing a plate up similar to the MyPlate guidelines. This plate is great for that. The compartments are almost the perfect height to fit about 1 cup of foodstuffs perfect. I'm a little disappointed that all the guidance says these aren't recommended for the microwave, as it looks like they'll be fine, but I am guessing that is due to not wanting the plastics to make or breakdown. What I also love about these plates is they stack well also. I was very surprised when they were shipped to me, they had foam padding in-between each plate, and were in a plain unassuming box. I ended up with two plates that were broken, which is disappointing. I was credited for the damaged plates. Hopefully they improve the packaging a little.

The lightweight material make its very kid friendly and I’m not afraid that they will break it. The three sections work great for separating an item that is more liquid so it won’t seep into the other section where you could put a biscuit.
