With the shelves resting at a 10 degree angle, they are perfect for storing side open binders and books. Since there is a 2" indentation on the back of the shelves, they can alternatively be used to safely house top open binders, keeping contents level and secure atop the shelf. Since the unit is cabinet style, the sides are entirely enclosed to keep items from falling out. Each shelf includes (3) 18 gauge dividers to hold books and binders vertically.

The dividers can be adjusted in 1 1/2" increments to accommodate your varying space needs over time. Casters are included with the unit, and 2 of the 4 come with locks to stabilize the unit for stationary use. This unit also comes with a flat work surface top for added convenience.
