Dutch Treat Ice Cream Sugar Cone

I really love the taste of these cones, and I have confirmed with the manufacturer that they are vegan (I use them at a vegan ice cream shop). But, it is really frustrating that so many in the case are broken when they arrive and many, many more crack as you are trying to place a scoop onto them. I want to continue ordering because they are really good, but I am starting to feel like it's not worth it for the ratio of useable cones, and also the time wasted needing to start over with a customers scoop when the cone cracks in the process.

I gave these cones 4 out of 5 stars because the way they are packaged makes them very difficult to ship without getting damaged. The cones taste very good, but I would like to see the manufacturers work with The Webstaurant Store to develop packaging that would help prevent damage during shipment. I understand that ice cream cones are fragile and that it is the shippers who are likely damaging the product. But, receiving damaged cones is inconvenient and creates work and costs for all parties involved.

Would have given a 0 if it were an option. The entire box was crushed. Do not waste your money on this item.

The cones are great. My client loved them. However, the issue is that they are not shipped well. Of our last two shipments, at least half, if not more, of the cones are broken, damaged, and unusable. Cones are fragile and while we expect some to be broken, the number that were unusable was high. The cones need to be packed better to prevent breakage.

This product seems to be packaged poorly and upon arrival most cones were broken and unusable. Webstaraunt has great customer service and issued refund. Cones taste ok, but, won't purchase again.

These cones are like most sugar cones however, a lot of them did arrived broken but for the price it might be expected. Would buy again thou.

This cone is not just a cone but it is like a tasty vanilla biscuit. My customers just love it. My only difgiculty is in transporting because it breaks quickly, but because you get so much for your money, you are still able to get maximun satisfaction from what you receive.

A wonderful style sugar cone with jacket sleeve that makes it easy to handle and serve. The cone was crisp and had a wonderful taste.

The fragile nature of these cones are a downfall because several of the cones arrive damaged but the quality and the taste is certainly worth the loss in profit on these. There are none that compare. Webstaurant Customer Service are always willing to assist with compensating for the lost profit and that is greatly appreciated. My customers perfer these sugar cones over any other brand. Its a win/win for us.

These are tasty sugar cones. They are a good size for smaller portions, and for kids. My only complaint is that some arrive broken, but that can not really be avoided.

Delicious cones and they are very sturdy. Ice cream stays in them for a while without fear of dripping by the time you are done.

The jackets help to cut down on the mess and you will use less napkins. The flavor is still there and can be savored sue to the jackets helping to keep it clean.

These Dutch Treat sugar cones make the most delicious ice cream cones. They are good quality and stay crunchy. Be warned, however: the cones are fragile.

These cones taste great. But 4 out of 5 stars because the way they are packaged the cones get damaged during shipping. You can expect about 5-10% of the cones to be damages. It is very hard to protect cones during shipping. We still order them just keep that in mind. Otherwise it a great product.

This sugar is great perfect size for 1 or 2 scoop of ice cream, Crunchy sweetness of the cone goe great with any ice cream flavor, and the jacket paper just add another great feature to the cone and a clean way to server to the customer.

These cones are tasty and crunchy. They are fragile and quite a few broke during shipment so be sure to factor that into your planning and pricing.

This is the only cone we will use with our homemade ice cream. They have a nice mild brown sugar/vanilla flavor that is not overwhelming and complements any ice cream flavor. A lot of our customers like to break them up over their ice cream as a topping, so we started keeping a jar of broken cone pieces for that purpose, and that was a hit!

I own 4 frozen yogurt stores and decided to introduce these sugar cones as another option to my customers. HUGE Success! The cones taste like a pastry and are very durable to the kids being rough with them. I have shopped around and the price is phenomenal. highly recommended

We ordered these, and they are just as described. Just beware that they are tiny sugar cones. I didn't pay attention when I ordered because I didn't realize sugar cones came in such small sizes. It was an expensive return, though the Webstaurant Store was great about it, of course.

These sugar cones are a hit. Not too small, but big enough where you can fit 2 nicely sized scoops of ice cream on them. Surprisingly, not many break during shipment so we usually get around 290 or so out of the 300 cone case. The broken ones we just smash up to create a topping, so it works out well!

I hate to open a box of waffle ones when thay are broken. thas have a great flavor and are fresh thay are easy to handly.

Nice little sugar cones. Nicely packed and good quality. They are easy to use and very inexpensive. So far we only heard good comments about these cones.

This is a great product for large events and catering. The wrappers however are not plain white, something to consider if you are hoping they look just like the picture. The wrappers have designs printed on them. The wrappers make the product feel more sanitary for the client.

Another key differences, is waffle cones are made with brown sugar and are darker in color, with a more intense flavor, and they are harder. Sugar cones are made in molds and are softer and less flavorful, with a flaky texture.
