We tried this size container and it is good and solid product. It holds quite a bit of food that isn’t tall. It is a shallow container as the name states so keep that in mind when you’re closing the lid on a food item. The perforated top is only a plus to have. Hope this helps
I was skeptical about the height of this item before ordering. It is a bit of an odd ball of a container size-wise. That said I can see a ton of uses for this container. They can serve as a takeout container and with the perforated lid the container can split into two plates. The utility and size are actually the best assets. In regards to product quality I have no red flags for concern thus far. Seems consistent. The only drawback is the latch closing. You cannot overstuff this container without having problems closing it. But it holds more than I expected - maybe a bit too much.
We bought these to use for take out at a recent pasta dinner. We found them sturdier and easier to pack than the larger square foam tray.
