The frame base is made from all CNC robotically welded 12 gauge steel, while it also uses CNC robotically spun discs for greater durability. The ribbed discs and rolled edges provide convenient safety on top of its impressive strength. The slip ring assembly is drum-located with an easy-to-access removable panel. This allows for quick and simple routine maintenance that doesn't require removal of the reel from its mount. The bearings are permanently lubricated, coupling with the self-aligning pillow block bearings to allow smooth rotation and long-lasting use. The CPC powder coat finish looks professional and is rust-inhibiting and chip-resistant.

This large capacity power cord reel is specifically designed for heavy-duty, rough applications. The 4 vane air motor sports an aluminum body and allows seamless retraction. Its direct gear drive is reliable and chain-free. It provides smooth and quiet rotation that is ideal for use in public spaces. This unit features a "cable keeper" to prevent the lead cable from whipping or getting twisted. The adjustable tension brake also prevents "free-wheeling" from occurring during operation. For ease of use, this reel is fitted with a 600V rated slip ring for the electrical current to run through. A long-handled locking pin secures the reel from unwanted rotation while in storage or during transportation.
