These shears are very heavy, but not in a way that makes them hard to use. They feel very durable and well-made, and they are made in Italy. I like that there is a screw on the side that allows you to loosen them but also to separate the sides for sharpening. They come razor sharp out of the box. I can't imagine better shears, especially at this price point.
