These scissors worked well. I'd previously purchased 3M scissors from this site where the blades did not meet and couldn't cut, so I decided to buy these because they were marketed as "precision." Well, these indeed had straight blades and could cut! The downside is they're 6", smaller than typical scissors with smaller handle holes too.

These are a nice medium length scissors about 4 inches and is compact and sharp. Worked for trimming paper and fabrics
