What is the difference between a bain marie pot and an inset pot?
We have found that many of our customers use the two names interchangeably. The tapered insets, as we call them, are more common and will sit higher in an adapter plate than a straight sided bain marie pot. However, both serve the same purpose.

This Bain Marie pot is an excellent value. It is strong, made with stainless steel, and will probably last a lifetime. I use them mostly for storage, whether it's spoons, etc. on my prep table, or stock in the freezer, these do the job. They also nest stack for easy storage.

This 6 qt. Bain Marie pot hold up to any job. It is good to use for draining stock, sauces with a china cap. Very durable great price for a good product.

Ordered this because it was listed as “works with” another item we had purchased (nacho cheese warmer). However when we got it, the pump dispenser part did not actually fit at all. Very disappointing

I have been using these pots for the last year to make yogurt in a water bath to heat the milk. They work wonderfully and unlike the glass jars I used to use never break because of heat stress. I can't praise their usefulness enough for ease in this job.

This bain marie is super helpful in the kitchen. We needed something to hold all of our cooking utensils and this worked perfectly. Deep enough to protect them, but just beware that it can split easily if dropped or pressure is put on the side of it.
