Juicer has great yield and makes juicing easier, but the plastic parts and shoddy connections of the metal parts make it very prone to breaking. We bought two, and at a rate of about 50 limes a week, each one lasted 3 months. Other juicers last much longer.

Handheld squeezers have the advantage of being convenient, portable, space-saving, and inexpensive, where countertop juicers have the benefit of being more ergonomic, squeezing more juice, and being more durable--especially in high usage situations--but are more expensive and take up more room. Because this handheld squeezer uses a gear, it juices better and is more ergonomic than most handheld juicers, but with extra parts come extra points of possible failure. For a busy bar, we'd suggest a countertop model over a handheld if durability is a primary concern. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Solutions team.

Outstanding bar tool to squeeze limes for drinks or cooking. I suggest the lime be fully peeled before juicing for a drastic increase in quality and purity.

We juice limes and lemons with this and it works for both. Small oranges and tangerines too. We use the real citrus juices in our candies for our Chocolate Gecko line and this is an indispensable tool. Cleans with mild soap and water.
