Juicer has great yield and makes juicing easier, but the plastic parts and shoddy connections of the metal parts make it very prone to breaking. We bought two, and at a rate of about 50 limes a week, each one lasted 3 months. Other juicers last much longer.
Thank you for your feedback! We think you bring up great points to go over for others. Handheld squeezers have the advantage of being convenient, portable, space-saving, and inexpensive, where countertop juicers have the benefit of being more ergonomic, squeezing more juice, and being more durable--especially in high usage situations--but are more expensive and take up more room. Because this handheld squeezer uses a gear, it juices better and is more ergonomic than most handheld juicers, but with extra parts come extra points of possible failure. For a busy bar, we'd suggest a countertop model over a handheld if durability is a primary concern. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Solutions team.
