This highly-concentrated gel coloring is formulated to add brilliant color to icing, fondant, batters, and even beverages without altering their flavor, color, or texture. It features a rich, deep leaf green color that will make an eye-catching addition to your confectionary creations. This leaf green liqua-gel food coloring makes it easy to use your creativity to create stunning baked goods that will dazzle your customers! It's also gluten-free and vegan, making it a versatile addition to any decoration. To achieve a lighter shade, you can use this product in conjunction with Chefmaster's Liqua-Gel food coloring whitener (sold separately).

Thanks to its concentrated formula, just a few drops of liqua-gel color is all that's required to achieve a vibrant color! This product works especially well with icings, fondants, gum pastes, batters, and cake frosting, though you can experiment with using it to add color to other recipes as well. This item can be used on its own or combined with other colors to achieve the perfect shade for every application! For best results, it's recommended to add the color directly to other liquid ingredients and mix thoroughly before combining with any solid ingredients in the recipe. Though liqua-gel colors alone are not suitable for use in chocolate, candy, compound coatings, and other fat-based applications, you can mix this product with Chefmaster's candy-flo candy color maker (sold separately) to make it possible to use this liqua-gel color in oil-based recipes! This bulk 1 gallon supply will keep your busy kitchen well-stocked for all of your culinary needs.

Customer questions about this product

How do I remove food coloring stains?

For stains on skin: Immediately rinse with water and soap to remove food coloring before it dries. If soap and water are insufficient, use a paper towel or washcloth soaked in white vinegar. Rub gently and rinse well with water. For persistent stains, make a paste with baking soda and water. Rub gently, alternating with a vinegar-soaked cloth. Rinse thoroughly.

For fabric stains: Rinse the stained area under cool running water without rubbing. Soak overnight in cold water with heavy-duty laundry detergent. Rinse and machine wash. If the stain persists, soak in a solution of water and oxygen bleach (1:10 ratio) for at least 8 hours. Rinse and wash again. For silk and wool, take the garment to a dry cleaner.

For carpet and upholstery stains: Mix 1 tsp dishwashing liquid, 1 tsp ammonia, and 2 cups lukewarm water. Use in a well-ventilated area. Sponge the stain with a white cloth dipped in the solution. Press gently without rubbing. Dry with a clean paper towel and repeat until the stain is gone.

Should I wear gloves when handling food colorants?

Food colorants can stain skin and clothing, and some individuals may have allergic reactions to certain colorants. Wearing foodservice gloves helps protect your hands from staining and potential irritation.
