This light-duty spreader is perfect for efficiently spreading salt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride. It is not recommended for use with rock salt, sand, lime, or mixes. With a weather-resistant poly hopper and powder-coated steel frame, this spreader is designed for longevity and precision. A cover is included to protect your salt from rain and snow. The hopper holds up to 80 lb. and has an enclosed acetal gear box to protect the gears from harsh weather. Plus, the wide-tread, 12" pneumatic tires offer stability even on rough, uneven terrain.

The U-shaped, flip-up handle provides a comfortable grip so it's easy to use while on the job. The handle effortlessly flips up upon removal from the box for your convenience. This spreader features a gate dial that allows you to easily change the gate opening based on the size of the particulates you are spreading.
