This spreader is suitable for both professional and light-duty applications, and it is perfect for efficiently spreading salt, ice melt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride. It is not recommended for use with rock salt, sand, sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime, or lime powders. With a weather- and rust-resistant poly hopper and a stainless steel frame, this spreader is designed for longevity and precision. A cover is included to protect your salt and ice melt from rain and snow. The hopper holds up to 100 lb. and has an enclosed gear box to protect the gears from harsh weather. Plus, the wide-tread, 14" pneumatic tires offer stability even on rough, uneven terrain.

The T-shaped handle with rubber grips is comfortable to hold while on the job, and it makes it easy to maneuver your spreader.
