This product is a great base for barbecue sauce. We use it a lot along with the cattlemen smoky base. It’s good enough to use as is, but it’s really designed to use as a base and you can make it your own by adding your favorite ingredients

With sugar as the number one ingredient I was expecting it to be very sweet but it's not too bad as long as you don't use too much. Solid taste for the price nothing crazy here.

This BBQ sauce has really good flavor. I typically use the smoky sauce from Cattlemen's as a base for my BBQ sauce for my food truck, but wanted to give this one a try. It's good, but be aware- it's reeeally sweet! For me, it's a little too sweet, but some people like that. I think it'd be good mixed with some heat or smokiness. I won't buy it again, because I'll stick with the smoky one.

Love this BBQ Base that you can easily tweak to your own needs! 1 cup BBQ base + 1 teaspoon mesquite seasoning and +/- a 1/4 cup of water and you have a Great Texas Road House Sauce! 1 cup BBQ Base + 1/4 cup sauteed onions and +/- 1/4 cup water is a wonderful Onion BBQ sauce! 4 cups of Ranch + 1 cup BBQ base for a great BBQ Ranch! It is also shelf stable with a shelf life of 9 months. So much versatility out of one gallon, the options are endless!! Did I mention that I Love this BBQ Base!! :)

I love this sauce. We switched to it recently and have gotten nothing but good reviews. It is nice and sweet but not overly so. It is thick and doesn't taste like it is made with high fructose corn syrup or other artificial sweeteners.

This sauce is simply amazing. We use it on our wings. Big seller. Sweet with a Tangy kick. As with all Cattleman sauces... Delicious. Product will burn if too much heat is applied...as we glaze our wings and then cook em a little longer. Just gotta know where the sweet spot is in the oven!!
