The dry mop pad does a great job on our wood floors at home. We tend not to vacuum them often enough, and these pads pick up a lot of dust and dirt ib-between uses. They are a bit like a super powered (and re-usable) swiffer.
The Velcro attachment system for these mop pads is genius! You literally set the mop frame on the pad and it sticks securely for mopping. When you are done, simply peel the pad off the frame and toss it in the wash...Great product!
