This rugged fan includes 3 aluminum louver shutters, allowing it to be installed from inside the wall without the need for external framing or shutters. Plus, the shutters have a tie bar to maximize airflow and a magnet that secures the unit's louvers in place when not in use, preventing flapping and providing quiet operation at only 55 dBA with a superior seal. This fan is housed in a sturdy, welded steel box with a gray powder-coated finish for long-lasting use. It includes durable 10" aluminum blades protected by zinc-plated heavy wire OSHA guards on the intake side of the fan, and it features 12" x 12" framing. This exhaust fan is designed for smooth, reliable, maintenance-free operation. It's ideal for industrial and commercial settings as well as auditoriums, halls, retail stores, garages, gyms, and laundries.

For optimal performance, this exhaust fan features a 2-speed, direct-drive, 1/4 hp motor that reaches up to 690 CFM on the highest setting and has an 1,800 maximum RPM. For energy-efficient use, the totally enclosed 32W ECsmart motor features sealed ball bearings, and it is electronically protected to prevent overheating for enhanced energy savings compared to traditional PSC motors. This sturdy fan is compatible with select Canarm hoods, switches, and thermostats for added versatility, and for added convenience, it ships fully assembled and is simple to install using only 4 screws (all sold separately). This 1-phase unit requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
