Enhance the air quality in your warehouse, office, factory, or commercial building with this Canarm ALX-UB series 16 1/2" upblast exhaust fan! This versatile fan is designed to exhaust air and provide ventilation in your establishment. It's made with durable spun aluminum construction that does not chip, rust, or peel for long-lasting use. This exhaust features an upblasting, 1-speed design. It's also compatible with Canarm variable frequency drives (sold separately) for variable fan speeds. It mounts directly to the wall with additional wall brackets (sold separately), or it can be installed on your rooftop. For rooftop applications, a 20 3/4" roof or wall opening is required.

This fan is great for use in demanding commercial and industrial environments, thanks to its 16 1/2" wheel. The wheel features a non-overloading design to provide consistent and safe use, and it's inclined backward to exhaust air efficiently. The unit features a 1 hp belt drive motor that delivers 2,627 CFM with a 1,489 maximum RPM.

For fast, tool-free access to the motor and other internal components, quick-release latches are included on the hinged lid, allowing for fast inspection and maintenance. Plus, it comes with an integrated drain channel that works to direct liquid away from the fan base. This prevents buildup while ensuring long-term performance. To ensure electrical components remain outside of the airstream in contaminated environments, this exhaust fan features a built-in ventilation tube that helps cool the motor using outside air while also offering a sealed path for running wire.

This 3-phase unit requires a 230/460V electrical connection for operation. It also features a 3/4" shaft size. This item complies with the AMCA Certified Ratings Program requirements for air and sound performance in accordance with AMCA Publications 211 and 311.
