It has a temperature range of -40 to 160 degrees and is not recommended for use in the freezer or microwave for long periods of time. However, it is safe for cleaning in the dishwasher. Additionally, it is BPA-free and meets NSF standards. Polypropylene ranks at a mid-level price point. These specifications are based on standard use of products, extreme conditions could alter product quality over time. Though temperature range is representative of microwave and freezer use, it is not recommended for certain materials and may cause products to deform or break.
